This on going series is inspired by classic portraiture painting. With each piece I strive to give my animals personality while staying consistent with the realistic nature of the animal. By incorporating a sense of subtle body language and facial expression from contemplative to humorous, the portraits aim to present the viewer with a unique expression of individuality in these non-human subject.
